My name is Kirk Lunde and I have been a tutor since October 2010. I had a career as a pediatric respiratory therapist. Then, I worked for DeKalb County Schools as a special education paraprofessional. Now, I help my son, who is doing school at home. My family lives in a suburb on the east side of Atlanta, Ga. It includes two sons, two dogs, and one awesome wife.
My experience in pediatrics, and with special needs students, has allowed me to develop a unique set of skills and techniques that I can apply to whatever learning or homework challenges your student may face.
Almost all of my clients have IEPs, or 504 Plans, but that is not necessary. I believe one-on-one tutoring is best for most of my students because they all have experienced struggles in classrooms.
